Hi @mariana.

Deneb/Vega-Lite can only process a single dataset, thus if you want to include, say, rectangular backgrounds for holidays and buffers, you will have to include them in your dataset. Once there, you can filter the data appropriately for each layer (e.g., buffers only in layer 1, holidays only in layer 2, tasks only in layer 3, etc.). Good luck.

Hi @mariana,
Can you share an example of the data you want to represent as a Buffer?
So far I have been able to integrate the holidays into the dataset so that I can represent them as @Greg indicated.
