Builds 21 - "Enterprise DNA YouTube Channel Data Analysis"

Excited to submit my first challenge entry!
Enterprise DNA YouTube Channel Analysis

My main goal was to make sure I nailed the brief: The objective is to understand the audience better and have a further strategy to drive more channel engagement. To that end, I dug into actionable questions and insights that could respond to audience viewership and drive more engagement:

  • Overall trends from a few perspectives
  • Length of video and subject matter
  • Timing of when videos are released - both time of day and day of week/month
  • The length and words in the titles
  • The age and gender of viewers
  • Where viewers are across the world, particularly where viewership is growing or declining compared to past months
  • The five Focus Cities called out in the dataset

I took a bit of liberty on the Video Details page and categorized the videos based on their titles. Each video already has a number of tags, and it seemed like narrowing these down to a few buckets would allow better insight into which videos the audience is most interested in.

A huge thank you to @BrianJ for solving a tricky problem with TopN for the titles - check it out in this thread!

Creating the mobile view was a fascinating challenge. Thanks for adding that and pushing us to learn new tricks.
