Hi @npower - Haven’t worked with xslb files and there doesn’t seems to be much information available on this. May be check this below post and see if it is helpful

@npower I guess this is because XLSB are stored in Binary format, which increases compression, whereas XLSX files are stored in XML format which is used for structuring the data.

Hi - this file type is now supported by Power BI. Had a play myself and it worked fine.

Yup it now works but it looks like PBI still can’t detect Excel tables in xlsb.
