Week Selection Based on End Date

Hi Team,
I have a between date range selection slicer on my PBI report.
I also created a numeric range parameter for no. of weeks (as slicer)
The requirement if he selects a date range as 11/11/2024 to 17/11/2024 (only 1 week) and selected 3 from a (parameter) for no. of weeks slicer. In this case, my visual should show last 3 weeks of data (week 44,45 and 46) based on end date selection and no on start date range.

Have you tried using Data Mentor that is built within the EDNA Platform?

DataMentor is a great tool to help you to figure out your problem to find a possible solution.

Did you mark your date table as a date table?

Please give DataMentor tool a try.

Hi @MohammedHuzefaBagwan - Thanks for sharing the PBIX file. Please find solution in the attached file. Changes done are

  1. Created a Disjointed Date table i.e. Copy of existing date table. Used Dates from new table as Slicer.
  2. Added a new Column in Date table called Week Offset. Similar to Date/Year offset you had.
  3. Created a new measure “Total Sales Week Offset” to get the required weeks bases on End date of Slicer and Week Param and then show Sales only for those week.
