I hear you. When I undertook this project, I hadn’t done much mapping prior. I just took it step by step, did a lot of Googling and relied on @Paul’s expertise when I got really stuck.
I do recall that MyGeodata Cloud does charge a nominal fee. However, since then I found this site:
which does all the conversion easily for free.
