Table function Values

Hi All,

How would we use the return values of a column from the values function. Using mastering Dax Calculation example, table functions video example, when I place table column on the dashboard, a list of the channels is displayed on the dashboard, however I cannot use the list as a slicer or as a dimension. Are you able to please provide a couple situations where I can use the values.

Please provide more details of what you are trying to accomplish from the example in that video so we can better assist you. Give an example if you have one in mind.

All good. I worked it out. The Value function is only used within a function and does not create a explicit list that I can use on the dashboard.
