Orient me please. I need to understand about special tables only for measures. Pros and cons of their use. Perhaps there is already a specific post or lesson of one of the courses on this topic.

Measure tables are a great way to keep your measures together, such as for Time Intelligence, Ranking etc.
A recent option on the model tab is to create display folders. They show as folders under the selected table and you can save and manage your measures here. It is really a personal like it or not.

Here is a great video from Sam that explains why Measure Groups are important. I would definitely suggest anyone you uses Power BI make this a best practice for their models.
