Show Fiscal months by Selected Year!

Hi All,

Apologies in advanced if the question is repetitive!

Is there a way to show fiscal months (Apr-Mar) based on a selected year in a slicer?

i.e. when selecting 2021 from the slicer, I am expecting to see Apr2021, May 2021,…, Jan 2022, Feb 2022 and Mar 2022.

Thank You for posting your query onto the Forum.

Yes, you can definitely achieve this result. While loading/generating the date table just specify the starting month of your Fiscal Year in this case since it’s April just mention 4 under the “FYStartMonth” option and load it in your data model.

And then drag the “FY” field into slicer and select any FY and you’ll have the months as per the “Fiscal Year”. Below is the screenshot provided for the reference -
