Search as you type functionality in Power BI

are you aware of any Power BI functionality that allows the user to filter record matching text being typed like inline search?

Hi @Roberto.

Yes, it’s already available for slicers via the ellipsis menu.

Check out SmartFilter Pro, one of my absolute favorite custom visuals - I think it will meet your requirement quite well. In the blog entry below, per your requirements, pay particular attention to the Autocomplete and Search mode sections.

thanks for the very prompt reply.
Actually, the consumers want to see the result filtered in the fact table, but I’ll propose this solution as well.

I knew this visual, but it didn’t come to mind.
I showed the solution to the users (I had to prepare the data getting keywords from text in the fact table, and now works just like they had asked.
