Schema for Job Search

Hello everyone,

I’m job hunting right now and I’d like to turn this into a data project. Does anyone here have a schema or flat file format that they’ve used to track their job hunt and build reporting off of?

Thank you!

@TuSeproWt,

I don’t have a direct answer to your question, but here’s an indirect way to figure out how to build that schema. Sankey charts are great visuals for representing job-search processes:

Microsoft has a certified Sankey chart custom visual available for free through Appsource. You may want to take a look at how data needs to be structured to populate that visual, and then determine if that structure is sufficient to answer the other questions you want to analyze in your report.

I hope this is helpful.
