SAP HANA SSO for Personal Gateway

Hi,

We are using Windows authentication (SSO) to connect to SAP HANA from Power BI Desktop, however, when the report is published in Power BI service, SSO is not available when setting up the connection (of Power BI-HANA) through the personal gateway (only Basic authentication method is available).

The reason why we’re using personal gateway is because we’re in a self-serve mode and this is what we use to refresh data in dev and test environment. The standard mode of gateway can only be installed by our Power BI admins and they utilize it when users need a data refresh setup in production and the data source are on prem.

Do you have any suggestions on how we can address the issue we have in service? Preferably, we should be able to connect to SAP HANA via SSO using the personal gateway.
