I have just been watching the You Tube video by @JarrettM on Refreshing and Excel File in Sharepoint w/ Power Automate. I have got the flow to work however as soon as the refresh button is pressed the flow moves onto the next step and closes the file without waiting for refresh to finish.
a) any suggestions how to stop the file closing until the refresh is finished? It takes around 15-20 minutes.
b) Is it possible to save the file with today’s date appended to it?
a) You can always add a “Wait” step to your flow for that 15-20 min window. I would give it a little extra time just to be safe.
b) Yes. This is a 3 step process.

Step 3 just adds the variable produce for the Current Date into the renaming of the file.
