Is it possible to Publish to Web using a Free Power BI account ?

As you might have guessed, nothing involving Microsoft licensing is ever easy or straightforward. The answer to your question is “no, but…”

With just a free Power BI account you cannot Publish to Web, HOWEVER…there is a provision to get an onmicrosoft.com account as part of a free trial for O365 E2 that WILL allow you to Publish to Web,

OK, I guess having Publish to Web is out of the question. Not a big thing anyway, just wanted to try it out.

If you have anything you want to test out in PTW, you can just send it to me at brian.julius@enterprisedna.co and I can publish it on our tenant and send you the link.

Also, a Pro account is only $10 a month, and they’ve currently got a 60 day Premium Per User trial going, so for $10 you get to play w/ Premium plus all the Pro features - pretty sweet deal.
