PowerBI service account

Hello Everyone,
In my company, I have been trying very hard with my IT team to get the SSO working in PowerBI service gateway setup but so far we haven’t been able to get that working so we are planning to get a Service account created which I can then use to login into gateway and start running the daily schedule refresh.
From my understanding, the service account would need PowerBI Admin role and access to all the SQL databases( i am importing data from SQL server). Is there anything else which is needed to get the service account setup?

Hi @kuberkgupta - Your Service account will need access to Gateway and all SQL Sources. Also, all SQL Databases shall be accessible from machine where Gateway is installed.

Power BI Admin Role is not required for schedule refreshes.
