Power BI Service and Python

Good day

I have a python script which creates a table in Power Bi desktop just fine, it also refreshes. However in Power BI Service its indicating that I must install Python libraries on my personal gateway, how do I do this step by step please. I just need the python script to refresh as it does on desktop on the service too.

Many thanks

Tyronne

This did not help at all, this is the generic kind of answer you can get off co-pilot, gpt and others. I am still trying to find a solution to be able to refresh python scripts from server…thank you

Hi @Tyronne
try using Mentor under the “project” and then clicking solution and type in your issue. it provide alot of detail information on how to setup it up in the gateway etc.

Please give it a try.

thanks

Check this video walkthrough. It should give you a clear understanding of what can and cannot be done while leveraging Python within Power BI. Not all python libraries are supported on Power BI Service.
