Power BI Pro Account

Hi,

I do not have another work email / college email ID.
How can i purchase Power bi Pro account so that i can publish the dashboard.

Need your guidance, Thank you.

Hey @EnanBahadur

most of the alternative solutions are based on creating temporary email addresses. and at the end at some point you will have to pay.

So , If you want a long term solution, Best solution is to purchase any domain name, and that allows you to have a custom email adddress that you can maintain

Alternatively, If you search youtube, there are several videos on this topic. Here is one such link.

Hope this helps.

i went through the video that @jsodhi posted. it explains it fully on how to establish power bi but then you will have click on buy the pro version of power bi.

There are other youtube videos show you how to setup a business /work email address etc. As @jsodhi mention you can purchase your own domain and email setup with that domain that you can set up your power bi pro account

Hey @EnanBahadur

Just to clarify:
to purchase PowerBI Pro, you need a professional email address.( anything that is not a free email account example gmail, yahoo, aol etc…)

If you would like to purchase a domain name and then set up your own email address based on this domain ( this will be considered as your professional email address by power bi). Internet is filled up with hosting companies that offer such services. Depending on your requirements, you may need to do some research.

Although this is not any sort of recommendation, but just a couple of examples that i can think of :
Godaddy and google domains.

Again you need to do some due research at your end regarding setting up of email after you have purchased the domain, before you would want to chose any company.

I hope you find this helpful.

Another option is to take out a subscription for Microsoft 365, which will create an onmicrosoft.com email address, and then add the subscription for Power BI.

just remember not all microsoft 365 are able to get power bi. Personal/Family subscription will not get you to power bi

I was actually referring to Microsoft 365 E3 Plan.

If you only want to publish and need to do it now without $$$ then the Microsoft 365 Developer Program which provides a 90-day renewable Developer Trial would work. You are not required to have a work or school email address. The trial is an E5 Plan and includes a Power BI Pro License.
