Power BI Desktop not starting up (after February 2018 update)

I have encountered an issue after the February 2018 update, which appears to be wider spread. Without an internet connection Power BI “hangs”, it will not open a file or a blank file. Only way out is killing it in Taskmanager.

I read comments on the web, hopefully this will be fixed soon.

I have also seen this caused by it sign out your account after an extended time. If your data is hosted in crashes as the login has reset.

Crazy, hopefully this is fixed asap.

Received confirmation today, that this will be fixed in the March release.
