Power BI Desktop July 2023 Released

Yes folks, Microsoft have released the latest version (2.119.666.0).

As before, when the official Microsoft blog post lands, will post here.

In the meantime, the hunt for what’s new/changed is on…

You can quickly get to Options/Report Settings by clicking on the cog icon in the bottom right.

Data Label Offsetting capability
Leader Lines (Lines that trace from your data label back to your data point)

• Querying #shared appears to have the same total count as June 2023.
• Unsure about any new DAX or updates to either.

An updated version has just been released, a minor one to July’s version above.
Version : 2.119.701.0
#shared = 1,110

Latest version I see is 2.119.666.0

Today mine updated from 2.119.66.0 to 2.119.701.0

Well, the MSI offered for download is still Version: 2.119.666.0 64-bit (July 2023). Would you query out the results of #shared, I would like to bump against Version: 2.119.666.0 64-bit (July 2023).

I just updated my miscrosoft store/power bi app. today again Desktop version is at

version 2.119.701.0 64-bit (july 2023)

Hmmmm, just noticed this in Model View… unsure when it first appeared.

“Calculation group” - I know this is a feature coming… along with other cool things to manage measures, seen the video. Seems like Microsoft is teasing us… :wink:
