Just starting a new project where I am hired to finish a Power bi solution that has been deliverd to client as phase 1. They want me to execute the phase 2. When I am looking into the solution that has been approved (haven’t seen the approval). The datamodel makes me a littlebit nervous. It looks like shit. Just a couple of tables connected to each other , hardly call this a datamodel.
Not sure what to do… Is it wise to make a real model before continuing ?
I think a dimensional model is the approach. But as we al know other people are responsible for building the datamodel. So what would be the approach?
