Hi. I want to pin some my visuals but can seem to make the pin icon appear.
I already did go to Options > Report Settings > Made sure Hide the visual header in reading view is unticked.
Is the pin icon available in Power Bi Desktop at all?
If yes, can someone help make this icon show on top of every visual I have in PowerBI Desktop?
I’m using Version: 2.94.921.0

Hi @GPM
You need to go into settings for the visual, ensure the Visual Header is on, then scroll down to turn the Pin Icon on as per below. Republish your report with the new settings and the Pin Icon should appear. Then pin to the dashboard you want it to appear on

Hi @DavieJoe.
I did what you said. Saved and restarted the application. Made sure the pin icon is on. But its still not reflecting on top of the viz.

You need to be in the Power BI Service to pin a visual to a Dashboard, the icons don’t show in your Desktop version.
The Icon will show there once you deploy.

No worries, someone showed me the exact same thing when I was first trying to pin to my first dashboard.
Have a great day @GPM
