Month Name in Visual Title

Man I am having a heck of a time figuring out howe to get the current month to be the dynamic title for a card visual. I am using the date table that is suggested by everyone here. I have tried to figure out how to use the Month offset, no luck.

I think the issue is that I do not have a slicer on the dashboard of my report. I have several different date sensitive visuals and the user’s do not need to change any of the dates for this one. So the “SelectedValue” function is not working either.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I think I need to use var but I have not been able to figure out what to do there.

Any help is much appreciated.

First off may I say THANK YOU, that has got to be the most kind thing someone has done for me in a very long time. You took the time to really walk me through that.

Then, I must say I feel like an idiot. I was trying to go about it a total different way using all kinds of DAX hen all I need was a short statement like that.
