I have created a matrix table which does the following

  1. shows client groups and can +/- to show the clients within the group
  2. within the clients within the group can +/- to show the jobs for that period

when i drag in the total sales it is showing all jobs for all clients with blanks.

when i just do a matrix without the total sales it filters out correctly.

how do i fix it so it only shows the jobs for the current period and not all jobs

Please share a copy of the PBIX to help better solve your question. There are several things that may be causing this error, but without seeing the PBIX it is harder to tell.
