Matrix drill down

Hi,

I have a 7 level category that i need to drill down in a matrix, my question is if it’s possible to do the expand to the next hierarchy only for 1 particular column and the other columns remains unexpanded?

I believe so. You just use the drill down and up buttons that are in the visual.

Thanks. Yes, i have tried that but that will drill down the particular column that has been clicked and the others will disappear.

Actually, what i would like is to be able to drill down the particular column and the other columns stay. Do you know if that is possible?

Right the column and select Drill down. Only that column will be drilled down.

Yes but i use that , the other initial columns disappear.

Yes ok I understand better now. I just am not sure this is possible right now. I’ve had a quick play around myself and couldn’t find a way to do this.

Actually I found that this is possible with the rows and there is a current idea under review to do the same for the column headers:

Right, yep I knew you could do that with the rows. It’s a great addition.

Yes I agree would be great for columns as well. I’m sure it’s not far away.
