Loading Data From Sftp server

Hi Guys,

I have data being loaded to a secure ftp server.
I have two options,

  • I can have it delivered to my organizations sftp server or
  • I can access it from my vendors sftp server

So I wanted to know in both the cases how can i load the data into powerBI. Is it possible to get data in both ways or not and if so how can i do it.

Hi @HariGanesan - Don’t seems there is an option to connect Power BI directly to an SFTP server. Best choice will be to copy files from FTP Server to SharePoint or OneDrive using Power Automate or similar tool and connect Power BI to them.

Can find several posts online on how to do that.
