Power bi seems to have a certified connector to OBIEE ( BI connector listed in the Get data option), but this requires installing a third-party driver from this particular vendor (which isn’t Free !?), any idea to workaround on this issue???
Hi @jojo, did the response provided by @ronald_balza help you solve your query? If not, how far did you get and what kind of help you need further? If yes, kindly mark as solution the answer that solved your query. Thanks!
Thank you for the excellent article but still, both ‘Unified BI’ and ‘BI Connector’ are third-party paid connectors. I was hoping for a direct connector from Power BI. My issue in this particular scenario is that I cannot directly construct my query from the Oracle DB because we don’t want to expose the tables, so the only option left is to read off from OBIEE subject areas.
Hi @jojo, thank you for giving additional details on your query.
