I am using the Nov 20 release of Power BI. I have to move a number of measures (300) from the fact tables they have been imported in on, to my “Key Measures” folder (and subfolders). I am sure I recall a feature to set the “Home Table” for a measure. But for the life of me I can’t find how to do this. I know I can drag and drop them in the Model window, but I’d rather speed the process up. If this can be achieved using Tabular Editor, do let me know, as I have that installed. Thanks.
In Data view select the table containing measures and go to the “Table Tools” ribbon, there you can set the “Home Table” for a measure. But multi-selecting in Model view and dragging and dropping is faster than moving a single measure at a time
Multi-selecting and dragging & dropping is the same experience as in TE (as far as I know).
Yup … TE is the way I’d try first … I copy-and-paste measures from one PBIX to another all the time (I just ensure that target PBIX has empty measure tables of the same name already) … should work just fine within one PBIX, although I’d expect some issues with copy-and-paste (as AFAIK you can’t have 2 measures with the same name) … perhaps take a backup first, then try cut-and-paste?

Hi @Jamie, did the response provided by the Experts help you solve your query? If not, how far did you get and what kind of help you need further? If yes, kindly mark as solution the answer that solved your query. Thanks!
Hi @Jamie,
As you already have Tabular Editor you can easily select all measures and copy from opened first instance of source pbix and paste to destination instance of pbix. It’s really easy also you can follow the steps mentioned by Melissa and Greg.
Below link for your reference with Tabular Editor
Thanks
