I’m looking at building a staff and room finder by linking an image of our campus (not a map) with the college timetable. Ideally, I’d like a staff member to be able hover over or tap on shape or on the map and see tooltip of activity in that location. Is there an approach I should use for this that others have found sussessful?
Synoptic Designer looked like a solution but I need to zones to be transparent but can’t see how that’s possible.
Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated.
I think based on your description, the approach that @sam.mckay lays out in this video should provide a perfect solution - fully meeting your requirements and super easy to implement. Basically just overlaying a series of transparent cards over top of each discrete area, with each one triggering a different report tooltip.
