Formula incorrect at Total level

Thank You for posting your query onto the Forum.

Below is the formula provided for the reference in order to correct the totals -

Funding (Correct Totals) = 
SUMX(
    SUMMARIZE(
        Funding , 
        Funding[Item] , 
        'Date'[Date] , 
        "Correct Totals" , 
        [Funding] ) , 
[Correct Totals] )
