External Power BI tools

Hi,

I do not know how to get the external Power BI tools to my Power BI desktop.

I tried to open one of the tools for example the Metadata Mechanic and it is coming up with a dataset connection.

@eobiki10 ,

I’ve not seen this error before. Did you try closing down Power BI after you installed the toolset, and then reopening it and making sure you had an active report file open.

Are all the tools giving you the same error?
