Is there a way to extend the pro trial for Power BI? I seem to remember that this was possible earlier but now I cannot see how that can be done. Problem is this, we signed up for a 60 day pro trial for a client and developed the model, reports etc. and published that to an app workspace. We have ordered Pro licenses from the CSP but they have not arrived yet and now the trial has expired which mean that we cannot access the app workspaces as licenses are reverted back to free licenses.
However, Power BI has really good customer support. If you contact them and let them know that you have already ordered the Pro licenses and are waiting for them, they will certainly extend your trial for the interim period.
@dttrombino Has given the correct answer. Reach out to support and let them know what’s going on. They will be able to help you unless the licenses have been expired for several weeks.
