I have a Fact File - Sales with Columns - Customer, Brand, Format , Country , Item Code , Item Description.

2 Questions :-

  1. Can i generate 6 different “Dimension Tables” from Fact File and use this Table in Data Model. Iam not able to get these tables separately therefore need to generate from Fact file.
  2. This “Dimension Table” will get updated whenever new Customer, Brand, Format , Country , Item Code , Item Description.is added in the fact file.

Yes, You can refence to Fact table and Remove duplicates.

Depends of the data and business logic - maybe you could put Item Code and Item Description together?
