Dax Switch Statements for Grouping data

Good Day

Need to set up a Dax measure with a switch statements to group data volumes by sales order line id:

Per the attached file:

Sample data set
Table for grouping data volumes

I would like to pull the measure into a slicer within a report to manipulate the data by the volume grouping.

I’m open to a better option.

Please advice of any questions.

You can not use measures to filter with slicer, I suggest you use power query for that grouping rule.

  • add a column with the conditional column option and name it “Volume Group”
