Date Slicer not adjusting with Month and Year selections

Hi all,

Hopefully a simple one here!

I have added a Date slicer to my report page, using Dates Between, however it isn’t taking into consideration the Year and Month slicers?

If I set Year = 2020 and Month = March, I would have expected the Date slicer to only offer the dates between 01/03/2020 and 31/03/2020, however it offers all dates in the model (01/01/2019 to 31/12/2020)?

When I hover over the Filter icon it shows ‘no filters are affecting this visual’, whereas if I check the Filter icon on Year for example, it shows that Month is filtering it?

I can’t believe this is expected behavior?

Hi @Mark,

Follow instructions below to sort this.

  1. Select the Year slicer
  2. Go to Format
  3. Edit interactions
  4. Enable “” Filter" by clicking on that icon
    Repeat these steps with the Month slicer selected
