Data Sets for All Course Modules

Greetings everyone,

My name’s Frederick aka Eric. I’m quite new to our site. My question is very simple:

I noticed that some lectures automatically go into discussing the topics without stating where the specific data sets/ workbooks could be found. An example would be the ‘DAX Formula Deep Dives’ mini series. I’ve tried searching for any link nor lecture that points to the actual work books/ downloads and I can’t seem to find it.

I’d surely appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance.

Hello @Fred_Z the lectures, resources and downloads can be found within the courses in the Enterprise DNA Portal.

Here is a wonderful Learning Map that can guide you on how to navigate the portal courses and direct you on your Power BI learning.

For your reference, here is the link for the DAX Formula Deep Dives

Hope this helps! :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello Enterprise DNA Team,

Thanks so much for this info. This is TRULY APPRECIATED  :sunglasses:

Hello once again Enterprise DNA Team,

I’m back again because I saw the 16 min video on how to use the platform. But still, there are several videos wherein the lecture starts right away and I can’t find any sign of the workbook/ data sets to be used. Here are links to some of these courses:

  1. Dax Deep Dive : Harvest Power BI Slicer Selections
    https://portal.enterprisedna.co/courses/305957/lectures/4839646

There are 2 straight videos and I don’t know where to find the data set being used.

  1. DAX Formula Patterns : Percent of Total
    https://portal.enterprisedna.co/courses/108878/lectures/2217095

Again, there’s no link within the video regarding the workbook/dataset being used.

  1. DAX Deep Dive" How to use the ALL function
    https://portal.enterprisedna.co/courses/305957/lectures/4839651

No dataset links

  1. Power Query - M Language
    https://portal.enterprisedna.co/courses/enrolled/1412764

My issue here is that the actual data set used by Melissa looks different with the one she supplied. Also, upon using the actual PBI file she used, there is an error within the source file.

*** There may still be other lectures that I may notice in the future, but so far these are the ones that stood out.

Thanks a lot in advance Enterprise DNA Team.

Regards,
Fred

Hi @Fred_Z

I found the source file that @Melissa is using in the Power Query - language. I found the excel that she is using the zip file in the What is power Query and how to Master M Course.

I hope this helps.
Note. there are zip files within each video course
Keith
