I saw a video that showed how to not have the straight line when there wasn’t any data for the rest of the year. I can’t find it now

The Moving average in the course uses the AVERAGEX ( DATESINPERIOD (Dates(Date), LASTDATE ( Dates[Date] ), -1, MONTH ), [Sales LQ] What would the formula be to calculate this based on a fiscal period number in a non std calendar
