I have a data in the excel format. I need to create a new dashboard for my organization
X axis will be date
Y axis will location
How many ticket were closed in each location. Could some one help me with this.
1)Can we use to dax for counting the tickets
2) Confused with X and Y axis
Please help it is very urgent

Thank you for posting your query.
You can create a simple measure like " Sum(Total Ticket)" to get the number of tickets.
You can find the X and Y axis in the below area.
I have attached simple dashboard by location and date, you can use the same.

I assume your ticket column is an ID, so you’d want a count of the rows for your measure not a sum.
Tickets Closed = COUNTROWS( Data )
For your graph, you’d want the amount of tickets as your Y axis not the location, with the location as a category like the below. I’ve assumed it’s the end date you want it grouping by not the start date as you’ve said when they were closed:
