Question: How should one edit a table created by the Enter Data > Create Table commands?
Background: Creating a small table that is not necessarily part of the model is often recommended in EDNA courses (example: several videos in Advanced Analytics In Power BI) as a technique for greater insight into one’s data. I’m glad I know this “tool” and plan to use it.
But once the table is set up, how can it be edited? Yes, I could write some M Code, but that seems more cumbersome than just setting up the table in, say, Excel to begin with (which is where most of my data comes from anyway); using an Excel table as the source would make it easy to edit (with a refresh, of course).
