I’m trying to calculate consecutive occurrences based on a column called success in my dataset.
Basically what I’m trying to achieve is to have two measures:
first measure will calculate consecutive occurrences where value is 0 and for example if we have consecutive 7 zeros in a row on the last row will write number 1.
second measure will count the number of occurrences in above example in the last row should write number 7.
No near a computer right now but your question had me thinking about a challenge posted a while ago… Can you see if the answers provided or the solution video help you work it out.
Hi @boshevski, did the response provided by @Melissa and @pranamg help in solving your query? If not, how far did you get and what kind of help you need further? If yes, kindly mark as solution the answer that solved your query.
Hi, first of all sorry for late reply I had to go on business trip and didn’t have enough time to fully commit to this issue.
I believe @Melissa suggestion should be correct path to continue investigation but I need to spend some time on it.
Thing is that my data set is different granularity (includes hourly data) and I’m not sure if that affect somehow suggested solution, but im coming back next week and will see what’s possible.
As I said initially this need to be measures so @pranamg suggestion is not fit for this case.
