Configure MySQL connection in on-premises data gateway

Hello,
What it use to be a simple task, to create a new datasource to MySQL, now something has changed.

and when i see the details…

I don’t understand most of the message but it says that The MySql source doesn’t support encrypted connections…and it’s NOT as you may see.

Did something has change that i don’t know of? Anybody can help me?

I googled your error message “the MYSQL source doesn’t support encrypted connections”, and found that this error is not always due to encryption:

if neither of these helps, you may need to go to the PowerBi support forum to get some Microsoft help.
