I just had a simple question I am trying to apply conditional formatting on a field called Variance %.
and I realize it doesn’t show, I am thinking it’s based on the code I use with the FORMAT function, it seems it doesn’t allow it to apply the conditional formatting when I choose the data bar option. Note if I remove the FORMAT function which would give 0.18 instead of 18% it would work though.
I am wondering if there is a workaround for this.
Do you mean you cannot apply conditional formatting when the DAX measure include FORMAT?

@ctvv3010 that’s correct, FORMAT returns a text string and not a number that’s why conditional formatting for Data bars won’t work.
Don’t know if there’s a workaround for this one…
