Colours changing in the Visual in power bi service

Hi,

I have this visual on my power bi Desktop

but on the power bi service, its automatically changing the colours and the order how legend appears in desktop file - Any ideas on why this is happening ? and how to fix this ?

@jps ,

This appears to be a wonky bug in Power BI that keeps popping up. Check this extensive thread from the Microsoft Community with a bunch of different workarounds people have used to remedy this problem.

@BrianJ Thank you for sharing this thread. I found the following fix.

I removed the last letter/number of the hex code, and immediately replaced it. I did this for every colour.

Once I published the report again, it showed up properly on the web.

  • the legend is still appearing in a different sequence , but that does not really matter
