Change data type in power query editor? or from power bi format? which is the right or better option?

When working with any data, what is the better option?
Change the type within the power query editor?

Or to change it from Power BI settings?

Hi @MGadAllah … I always lean toward the most accurate data model possible, so do all I can in PQ first. Then, and only then, I’ll use the format box to adjust the display value as desired. Hope this helps. Greg
