Can we have Default filters in dashboard

Hi,

Lets say I have a drop down filter of 5 Values, i.e. A,B,C,D,E. . Currently they are unselected for the user when they view the report,

Is there some way I can have some of these options set as default view? so When user first views the report it automatically shows data based on pre selected filters . lets say A,C,E.

and if the user then wants to also see data for B, or D, or both, he can then make his own selections. but A,C,E Should always be the default view every time user opens the report

Hi @jps

Two steps:

  1. Published the report with the pre selected filter
  2. Enable the option : Don’t allow end user to save filters on this report

Got you. Thanks - yeah that works just as how I wanted it to.
