Calculation group won't display in card visual

Hi all,

I am new to Tabular Editor and trying to implement calculation groups. I have it working but I can’t not display it in a Card visual. In a Matrix it works fine. For instance, I have time intelligence functions for YTD, see image #1. When I place this into a card visual it won’t allow me. What am I doing wrong and can someone direct me to a solution or resource to help me.

@ysherriff That part isn’t covered in the couse as this is related to filter context and how DAX workd, it looks like you haven’t selected a year in the report in that case DATESYTD is going to compute on the last year of your date table and if it doesn’t have any transactions then you will get a blank.
