I have a Power BI report running in the Power BI Service which was set up in PBI Desktop so that only one table refreshes. This table is quite large and receives its data constantly throughout the day from a PostGreSQL table on an Amazon AWS database.
I would like to automatically refresh Power BI on the Service periodically throughout the day but preferably only with data received since the previous refresh.
What would be the most efficient way of doing this?

Also a few things to keep in mind as well for refreshing and not sure if this will affect you and also is this something permanently for you or just for a time frame to check on? :
Regardless of incremental refresh, Power BI Pro datasets have a refresh time limit of two hours and do not support getting real-time data with DirectQuery. For datasets in a Premium capacity, the time limit is five hours .
Generally speaking I have always used Scheduled Refresh but most of the data I get isnāt data that is pulled from a live data source.
