The workspace has two reports/semantic models

report_2
At present, all users can see both reports.
How is it possible, to give access in the app for certain users to see report_1 and another set of users to see only report_2 ?

Use Audiences
each report should be in a separate workspace, right?

Audiences allow you to, if you want, have ALL reports in one App but restrict access via Audiences. It my current position we have every single report in one App but we have created different Audiences which allow different users to see certain reports.
We have a “Safety” Audience, we also have a “Finance” Audience.
We then add users to each Audience, so members of our Safety Team will be included in the Safety Audience and not the Finance Audience. So the Safety Team will only be able to access the reports we have included in the Safety Audience view. Vice versa the Finance Audience.
We can also add senior management to both Audiences so they can view both sets of reports.
Reading back your post, are you talking about letting users access the report in the Workspaces only? Or are you using Apps?
If you are not using Apps/Audiences, have you tried Row Level Security?
