Anyone knows what is the language that M Language for power query compiled on?
Or in other words, is it for example based or compiled on C Language or alike?
M stands for Mashup. The M language is a functional, case-sensitive language similar to F#, which is used inside the Power Query Editor.
Thanks for your reply.

I understand what you are asking but i don’t see anything other than what @Melissa has stated in her reply. ( I spent about half hour browsing the internet)
It is also known a data mashup.
My suggestion would be is for you to contact Microsoft to see if they have anymore information on it.
thanks
