Hi everyone,
I keep getting this problem when my map visual does not display as expected. Actually, it only turns white (nothing displayed).
I searched Google on how to fix this and some people tell the problem occurs due to the inaccessibility of Bing Map.
I tried to remove the cache and reopen the report but it is not working
For example, I look at this report: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Data-Stories-Gallery/Global-Super-Store/td-p/627564
It has the map visual, but when I see it on my computer, it looks like this: https://prnt.sc/3ZgV7n2hoMOP
Does anyone know any way to fix this?
Thanks in advance
Hello @hunghahuy …
Have you tried loading the same report in a different browser?
Or maybe a page refresh multiple times?
Hello @dileepkvme
I tried but it does not work
Can you please share the pbix for this to get a proper understanding of the data?
any chance this is a firewall issue? (Bing maps website blocked?)

Hi @hunghahuy , just a shot here.
Have you checked these two things:
-
Power BI desktop options, check map visuals option
-
Admin portal on Pbi service, check map visuals for your organization
?
I had a similar problem and checking these solved the issue. Can you give it a try?

Hi @Josimar_Biosse
I got all of them checked already
but I still got the problem:
The ref link: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Data-Stories-Gallery/Trade-in-Europe/td-p/2052846
Do you still get the same problem with the PowerBI desktop?
When I go to Firefox or Chrome and open Bing Map (I heard that there is something related between Bing Map and Power BI map visual), and I got this:
Maybe something is wrong with my internet or something because I can still browse other websites normally?

I don’t use any firewall. Do you think I need to use IP changer?
I think I got it now @Heather
It works after changing my IP adress
Thank you

Glad you were able to find a solution, that is a very frustrating and not-so-helpful error message.
