Using relative date slicers with OFFSETS

I know there must be tons of information out there on @Melissa extended date table, and video’s on how to use the offset columns, but I have yet to see a straight forward set of instructions on how to use offsets to create a range date slicer like this:

Can anyone shine a light on how I can go about linking these relative slicers to my fact table?

Is this what you are after?

Thanks @DavieJoe , definitely looks like what I’m after, although at a quick glance, it doesn’t seem like its using offsets. But it may resolve my inquiry. I’ll more into it.

I realise it doesn’t refer to your point about offsets but when I seen the image you posted of the slicer elements my immediate thought was of the link/post I provided. A very useful read.

Thank you @DavieJoe !
I marked your reply as the solution, however, I noticed this causes a referential integrity issue because the Period table[rolling year] is looking back further than the start of my date table.

Are you not able to move the date back in the date table so they start at the same time?

I guess I could. There would just be a full empty year in the dataset.
