Table report with row expansions (+ like excel)

Hi, I want to make a table style report with row expansions.

I have made a report before in the style Sam teaches for creating a P&L template and using the switch function to determine what falls on each total line etc. This makes a really nice summary report.

However the users want to be able to click a plus sign to the left of the row like you can in excel and get a view of the underlying accounts (instead of drilling down/through). Is this possible to do in a non-paginated report?

Any tips gratefully received (see example expansion in the attached image)

Try a matrix instead of a table.
